Program Description

Event Details

Join us at the Library's Cribbage Club, held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, from 1 pm to 3 pm! Whether you're a seasoned cribbage player or a complete beginner, this event is open to all skill levels. Come and enjoy an afternoon of friendly competition, strategy, and camaraderie.

Cribbage is a classic card game that has been enjoyed for centuries. It is played with a standard deck of 52 cards and a cribbage board with holes and pegs to keep score. The objective of the game is to be the first player to score a certain number of points, typically 121 or 61.

During the game, players play cards and combine them to form runs, pairs, and other scoring combinations. The unique aspect of cribbage is the "crib," a separate hand of cards that is scored by the dealer at the end of each round. This adds an additional layer of strategy and excitement to the game.

At the Cribbage Club, you'll have the opportunity to learn and improve your cribbage skills, as well as engage in friendly matches with fellow enthusiasts. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the game or an experienced player seeking new challenges, this club provides a welcoming environment for everyone.

To make your experience even more enjoyable, light refreshments will be provided during the event. So, grab a friend or come on your own and join us for an afternoon of cribbage fun at the Library's Cribbage Club!
