In 2022 Volunteers donate over 470 hours to the library, the library has over 55 volunteers to helped the library this past year. Volunteers play a crucial role in helping the public library fulfill its mission of serving our communities. Volunteers support library staff: by helping to fill in the gaps by providing additional support. This includes tasks such as shelving books, assisting with programs, and helping patrons find resources. Volunteers offer computer assistance and helping using the library's equipment. Volunteers help with programs like our Story Walk, Free Little Libraries and book sale which help build a sense of community around the library and increase awareness of its services. All of the work volunteers do helps the library staff focus on other areas and gives our volunteers a sense of purpose and a way to give back to their community. Volunteers are an invaluable resource for our library. They provide essential support, expand services, engage with the community, and help libraries operate more efficiently.
