Program Description

Event Details

As part of National Library Week the library encourages you to stop by and help clean up and pick up the library grounds. Gloves & trash bags will be provided. Volunteers will also be able to walk the boulevard if they choose.

*In the event of rain the event will be canceled.

Tasks for Day

  1. Pick up Trash & Sticks
  2. Tighten Bolts on Tables and Chairs in pavilion
  3. Sweep out Pavilion and take our trash
  4. Sweep clean parking lot and street parking stalls (grass and dust collect along curb)
  5. Sweep clean steps on north side of library
  6. Scrub/Clean bird droppings from Clarinda centennial sign (NW corner of grounds)
  7. Pressure wash main Lied Public Library Sign
  8. Grass seed and fill dirt for any areas that need it
