The Lied Public Library in Clarinda is proud to announce Library Grounds Clean Up Day as part of National Library Week celebrations. On Friday April 28th between 2-4, library staff and volunteers will be cleaning up the library grounds and making sure the outdoor space is clean and welcoming for all visitors.

Library Grounds Clean Up Day is an opportunity for the community to come together and show their support for their local library. The library is more than just a building with books, it is a place where people come to learn, to connect, and to be inspired. A clean and well-maintained outdoor space is essential to creating a positive and welcoming environment for all.

The library is calling on members of the community to volunteer their time to help with the clean-up efforts. Volunteers will be provided with gloves, bags, and other necessary supplies. Feel free to bring extra rakes.

Library Grounds Clean Up Day is a great way to get involved in the community and make a difference. It is an opportunity to meet new people, works together towards a common goal, and give back to the community. Event will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather.
