Join us for Giving Tuesday: Support Clarinda Library!

We're excited to announce our collaboration with the Clarinda Foundation for a special Giving Tuesday event! On November 28th, the Clarinda Foundation has generously pledged to match donations of up to $3,000 for any fund that raises $10,000 or more.

Let's come together to make a difference and support our beloved Clarinda Library. Your contributions make our library a valuable and unique asset to our community and the surrounding areas. Your generosity transforms our library and enhances our community. Last year, we exceeded $18,000 in donations on Giving Tuesday, and we can achieve even greater success with your help.

Over the past year, we've implemented fantastic improvements, such as more handicap parking spots, a bike repair station and bike rack, refreshed library landscaping, Wi-Fi access at the City Park, and a pocket park. Your donations also continue to support essential programs, including scholarships for graduating seniors, the Hotspot lending program, the summer reading program, the summer outdoor concert series, and the StoryWalk® at City Park.

All these projects and programs are made possible through the incredible generosity of our community and individuals like you.

To make a donation, simply send a check made out to the Clarinda Foundation at 114 E. Washington, Clarinda, Iowa 51632. Please be sure to specify that your contribution is for the "Clarinda Library Fund" for the Giving Tuesday match.
