Event Details
Every two seconds someone’s identity is stolen. That’s why AARP launched the Fraud Watch Network – to arm people of all ages with the tools they need to spot and avoid scams.
Con artists don’t care how hard you worked. They steal billions from Americans like you every year. We’re fighting back with the AARP Fraud Watch Network. Join us for a discussion about how to spot and avoid identity theft and fraud so you can protect yourself and your family. It’s free of charge for everyone – members, non-members and people of all ages.
Our Presenter, Dr. Sally Leme, is a trained AARP Fraud Watch volunteer speaker. She is a former University of Iowa Professor and a retired Special Education Consultant from Grant Wood AEA. She does presentations for the Johnson County Livable Community as well as AARP Fraud Watch.
