Community Conversation Thursday April 30th 2024

Join us at Lied Public Library for a vital Community Conversation dedicated to understanding and supporting individuals with hearing loss.

Date: April 30th Time: 1 PM Location: Lied Public Library

This gathering aims to foster empathy, awareness, and practical strategies for accommodating and assisting those with hearing impairments within our community. Whether you're personally affected by hearing loss or simply eager to learn more, your presence and participation are invaluable.

We'll share insights, resources, and experiences to illuminate the challenges faced by individuals with hearing loss. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in open dialogue, ask questions, and exchange ideas on how we can collectively enhance accessibility and inclusivity.

Together, let's amplify understanding and support for those with hearing loss, creating a more inclusive environment for all. Light refreshments will be provided. Don't miss this opportunity to make a difference in our community.

The Library recently received a $10,000 grant from the American Library Association for the Libraries Transforming Communities program and will use input from this conversation to best utilize those funds.
