Civil War Artillery & Reenactments with Jimmy Briggs

Join us as Jimmy Briggs shares what it was like to be a member of an artillery battery during the civil war. Jimmy will discuss how the batteries function, are loaded and fired. He will also visit about life was like for soldiers during the civil war. He will also discuss civil war reenacting.

Jimmy Briggs is from the Shenandoah area he has been a Civil War buff since grade school and has gotten involved in area Civil War reenactments over the past several years.  He has participated in reenactments in Brownville, NE, Silver City, IA and Mexico, MO.  He is currently part of a reenactment group's artillery battery.
